Plans change, and that is okay. Our main aim is to provide you with a "No Tension" experience. However, to keep our technicians' schedules running on time, we have made a simple cancellation policy. This helps us serve every family in Jawpur and Dum Dum without making anyone wait for too long.

When you book a service with us, we block a specific time slot for you. If you cancel at the last minute, that slot goes to waste, and another person who really needed a filter change might have to wait. So, we request all our customers to give us a small intimation if they cannot make it. This policy ensures we can manage our hard-working team fairly while keeping our services affordable for you.

Residential Service Cancellations and Timing

If you need to cancel your standard repair or filter cleaning, we ask for a 2-hour window. If you tell us at least 2 hours before the technician is supposed to reach, there is absolutely no charge. You can just cancel it or ask us to come another day. We want to avoid last-minute tension for both you and our boys. It is very easy to just drop a message or call us.

There is a "Technician on the Way" rule you should know. If our boy has already started his bike and is halfway to your house in Lake Town or Baguiati, it becomes difficult for us. In such cases, if you cancel when he is almost there, we might have to discuss a small inconvenience fee. We always try to be reasonable, but please try to inform us as early as possible so we can divert him to another service call.

The Doorstep Cancellation and Visiting Fee

This is a bit of a critical point, but it is important for our business authenticity. If the technician arrives at your home at Jawpur Road or anywhere in North Kolkata and you cancel the service at the doorstep, the visiting charge of ₹250 becomes mandatory. Water Purifier Maintenance Contract (AMC) Cancellation

If you have signed a long-term Water Purifier Maintenance Contract (AMC) with us and you wish to cancel it, we have a fair process for that too. Maybe you are shifting out of West Bengal or you bought a new machine. We offer a Pro-rata refund. This means we look at how many months are left in your contract and how many services we have already provided, and then we refund the balance money to you.

Please note that we deduct a small Administrative Fee of ₹300. This is for the paperwork, the initial machine health checkup we did, and the system updates. We believe this is a very genuine way to handle things. Unlike big brands that never give your money back, we settle your account within 7 working days. We want you to leave with a smile so that if you ever come back to Kolkata, you choose Aqua Service Centre again.

Rescheduling vs. Total Cancellation

We always encourage our customers to go for Rescheduling instead of a total cancellation. If your morning is too busy, just ask us to come in the evening! Rescheduling is Free of Cost if you do it in advance. It helps you keep your water purifier healthy without losing your booking. We are very flexible with our timings in the Dum Dum area.

By rescheduling, you ensure that your RO & UV Service in Kolkata happens on time. Delaying a service for too long can damage your RO membrane, which is very costly to replace. So, if today is not a good day, just tell us "Aaj hobe na, kal ashun" (Not today, come tomorrow). We are happy to adjust our calendar for our regular customers.

Our Right to Cancel Due to Weather or Emergencies
